What this board is, and what it is not
These are the twenty five most profitable Polymarket wallets over the last seven days, taken from Polymarket's own public data and refreshed continuously. Every wallet on it is a public address, so any of them can be opened and examined in full by anyone, including you.
Now the part that matters, and it applies to every prediction market leaderboard you have ever looked at, this one included.
These numbers count the wins more reliably than the losses
When a Polymarket position wins, the holder redeems it, because each share pays out a dollar. That redemption is a transaction on the blockchain and it is unambiguous.
When a position loses, redeeming pays nothing and still costs gas. So almost nobody does it. The worthless tokens sit in the wallet indefinitely and no settlement event is ever written.
The consequence is structural rather than anyone cheating: profit figures across this ecosystem are assembled from a record where wins reliably settle and losses frequently do not. A trader who wins less than half the time can present a board number that suggests otherwise.
How to check any of them yourself
The fix is a diff, and it is the reason Whalefax exists. Walk a wallet's complete trade history, work out which positions it should still be holding, then compare that against what the wallet actually holds right now. Anything in the first list and missing from the second, never sold and never redeemed, is a market that resolved against them. Book it at zero and the real record appears.
We ran this on a recent number one and his record came out to 132 wins against 140 losses. He is genuinely, substantially up. He is up on sizing and on knowing which bets deserve weight, not on being right more often than he is wrong. Both facts are true and only one of them shows on a leaderboard.
Click any trader above to run that reconstruction. It uses public data only, it costs nothing, and it never touches a wallet connection.
Why volume and profit are different questions
Two traders can sit next to each other on this board with wildly different businesses behind the number. One pushes fifty million dollars through the market in a week to keep a few hundred thousand. The other touches a fortieth of that and keeps more. Ranked by profit they look comparable. They are not doing remotely the same thing, and only one of them survives a bad month.
Turnover is not edge. A board sorted on profit alone cannot show you the difference, which is why the volume column is here next to it.
