How to find a Polymarket wallet address
Everything about a Polymarket account is public and keyed to one address. Most people trying to look up their own history start with the wrong one.
Your own address
- Open Polymarket and go to your profile.
- The address is shown on the profile page, and the profile URL itself contains it.
- It begins
0xand is 42 characters long.
The proxy wallet trap
The address that holds and trades your positions is not necessarily the one you funded from. Polymarket trades through a proxy wallet created for your account. If you deposited from MetaMask or an exchange, that funding address has your deposit on it and none of your trading history.
If you look up an address and see almost no activity despite having traded plenty, you have the funding address rather than the proxy. Go back to your Polymarket profile and take the address shown there.
Somebody else's address
Every Polymarket profile is public, so this is not a workaround, it is how the platform is designed.
- From a profile link. The address appears in the URL of any trader's profile page.
- From the leaderboard. Click through to any ranked trader and take the address from their profile.
- From a username. Usernames are display names layered over an address, so open the profile and read the address underneath.

What you can do with an address
- Every trade ever made from it, with timestamps, sizes and prices.
- Current open positions and what they are worth right now.
- The real win and loss record, once you recover the positions that resolved against them and were never redeemed.
All of it is public on-chain data. No permission, no login, and nothing you do can affect the wallet, since reading a blockchain is read-only by nature.
Multiple wallets
If you traded from more than one account during a year, each one has its own address and its own separate history. There is no combined view, so for tax purposes you have to rebuild each address and add them together. Write down every address you used while you still remember them, because a wallet you abandoned in March is very hard to recover in April.
